Project details

What we need
  • Assessment of existing board procedure, policy, set of guidelines, or system
  • Creation of one document outlining one procedure, policy, operations, or set of guidelines, for example: bylaws, board meeting procedure, succession planning guidelines, committee policies, board member orientation handbook, etc.
Additional details

We have revised our By-Laws with a focus on racial equity and on modernizing our practices. We need a qualified corporate or nonprofit attorney to review our document and check for weak points or risks.

What we have in place
  • We currently have revised By-Laws ready for review, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Governance Committee, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,298 , allowing us to focus on supporting our students and families during the national crises currently and to produce media arts in collaboration with high school student advocacy groups.

We have revised our By-Laws for the first time in many years and need a legal review of the document to be sure there are no legal weak points or exposed risks.
