What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

CAFY held a virtual spoken word event, S.L.A.M. (Saving Lives All Month) during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to raise funds for the survivors of Domestic Violence that we serve every day. We recorded the event on Zoom and would like a video highlighting some of the poets and call to actions.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Raw footage, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have A staff member ready to get started, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to Provide pro bono counseling sessions for victims of Domestic Violence that would not be able to afford them otherwise.

This will allow us to raise more funds for the victims of Domestic Violence that we serve every day. We do not have the software or staff experienced in video editing to make this happen otherwise. Thank you in advance!

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
