Flexible Web Development Support
Flexible Web Development Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Nonprofit Prince George's county is seeking help with updating simple technical website details, such as updating page structures, adding videos to homepages, and fixing website bugs.
What we have in place
- We currently have a clear list of current issues with the website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an updated Wordpress based website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to push our monetary resources towards our community building projects, such as our SERVE program that provides meals and supplies to low income families.
This project will allow us to support over 200 Prince George's nonprofits, by providing them with a website that is updated, populated, and most importantly, easy to navigate. By doing this, we grant resources that help with the capacity building of their organizations.
Project plan
Our mission
Nonprofit Prince George's mission is to "Advance Vibrant Communities through Excellent Nonprofits" by investing in our County's nonprofits to empower them toward excellence.
What we do
We work to achieve our mission by building the capacity of nonprofit organizations to expand service delivery, increase resources, and develop accomplished leaders to promote positive social change in our communities.
We also provide support that engages the nonprofit community in public policy advocacy regarding various issues that directly affect their communities; and provide collaboration and networking opportunities for nonprofits to share expertise, skills and programs.
